New vehicle with 5,000 miles. Brought it in for oil change, steering wheel adjustment, and a constant rattling noise that I demonstrated exactly where the noise was coming from. Oil change was fine, but the steering wheel couldn’t be corrected because “alignment guy” was absent for training (understandable), but either no notes were made about the rattling noise or nobody took the complaint serious. Was told they looked underneath for rattling even though I demonstrated when dropped off that noise was coming from under interior trim between driver side rear passenger window and storage area window (NOT understandable). Was invited to bring it back another day to have the other two items addressed. Kinda makes a person feel stupid for spending nearly $80,000 for a brand new vehicle that was released from manufacturer with steering wheel on crooked and a loose piece that thumps at every lane change or turn. Must happen all the time because nobody seemed surprised or concerned.

Interesting thing, I got a text once I checked in that said I could connect with the mechanics( not sure who) and when I responded with something I forgot, I got no response. And, the item in question wasn’t looked at. Just like no return call the day before my appointment when I left a vmail for someone to call me back. This also happened last Dec when I was needing new tires. I got transferred to the dept but had to leave a vmail but no one returned my call so I ended up getting tires from another merchant. Why does no one respond with the new texting and if you leave a vmail for someone???

The service employees are always friendly and helpful and answer all my questions. A job that was supposed to take about 4 hours took a little less than two hours just as the technician promised. I was grateful since I was waiting for my car. My only suggestion is that I wish they had more loaner cars available for longer waits. I have only been in the area for about 2 years, and they have always been a great help when I take my car in. I have no complaints.

My truck broke down on the side of the road which was extremely frustrating. My initial call was to AAA for assistance. After 10 minutes and zero results, I called Matt Joyner (GMC Sales Manager). I told him what had happened. In a matter of 15 minutes, he sent one of his sales associates that come to where I was and assisted. Matt made sure a tow truck picked up my truck and he communicated with me through the evening. The next day he was communicating at the start of the day. The service team made the repairs, called me with good news that my truck was ready within a short period of time. It was a great experience in terms of customer service. The team at Rocky Mount are extremely professional and I appreciate their willingness to go the extra mile for a repeat customer.

I have had car over a year and have struggled to get head rest repaired that didn’t work when purchased the car. I was told to bring back and we set appointment and would get repaired. I did they couldn’t because when got there said would be all day job they didn’t realize. Didn’t have a loaner had to drive back home an hour away. Said would contact me when had a loaner never did. I brought back for first oil change still no loaner so waited for oil change. Said would call to set up appointment when had loaner. Never did. Brought for second oil change still no head rest repaired. Radiator hose leaking brought in for repair. Was given a Hummer E for loaner. Was told GMC part was back ordered and would be 3-4 weeks so had to bring Hummer back another hour each way. I asked and was told by Chris that they couldn’t go ahead and do the head rest warranty repair and service while had it. When they finally called to tell me the hose had been repaired 4 weeks later I asked about the other work and he acted like first he had heard of it. He said original ticket on head rest was with someone that wasn’t there anymore. I said thats great but WE me and YOU (Chris) had the conversation that everything would be taking care of while they had it not to worry he was new service manager or something blah blah blah. .
